HUAWEI Pura 90s Series And HUAWEI Freeclip 2 S Now Available In Malaysia | Bringing flagship mobile imaging, intelligent experiences, exceptional connectivity, and stylish open-ear audio to consumers nationwide.
KUALA LUMPUR, 23 JULY 2026 - Following the recent global launch, the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series and HUAWEI FreeClip 2 S are now officially available in Malaysia. Combining advanced imaging, intelligent experiences, and refined design, Huawei’s latest lineup is built to elevate everyday photography, productivity, and entertainment.
The HUAWEI Pura 90s Series delivers advanced camera technologies for diverse shooting scenarios. The HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max features the industry-leading 200MP Ultra Large Sensor Telephoto Camera with a 1/1.28-inch RYYB sensor, 4x optical zoom, OIS, and 20x HEX Telephoto Video capability for capturing distant subjects with exceptional clarity, complemented by the Ultra Lighting HDR Camera offering up to 16EV dynamic range. The HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro, meanwhile, features an Ultra Lighting Macro Telephoto Camera with a 5cm minimum focusing distance and a 50MP Ultra Lighting Main Camera for detailed close-up photography.
Beyond hardware, the series enhances photography with intelligent AI features. AI Composition improves framing, AI De-Glare removes reflections, AI Move and AI Remove simplify photo editing by moving and resizing subjects or removing them entirely, while AI Best Expression selects the best expressions across multiple frames. Complementing these features is the 2nd Generation True-to-Colour Camera for more natural and accurate colours.
On the software side, the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series runs on EMUI 16 based on Android 16, delivering exceptional connectivity and a more interconnected, intuitive experience across calls, browsing, and content sharing. Enhancing cross-device connectivity further, the Petal InterConnect App enables seamless cross-OS file sharing with iOS devices, making it effortless to transfer photos, videos, and files across ecosystems. Complementing this experience are the Celia AI Assistant and the HUAWEI AppGallery ecosystem, offering greater convenience, smarter interactions, and easy access to a wide range of applications for everyday productivity and entertainment.
The HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max is available in Orange Ocean, Blaze Purple, Blush Gold, and Graphite Black, with the Orange Ocean edition introducing the industry-first Dual-Tone Gradient Mid-Frame. The HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro comes in Guava Soda, Orange Soda, Mulberry Black, and Coconut White. Both models are equipped with a 6000mAh battery, supporting 100W wired and 80W wireless HUAWEI SuperCharge on the Pro Max, and 66W wired and 50W wireless charging on the Pro. The HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max further stands out with Anti-Reflection Scratch-Resistant Kunlun Glass for enhanced durability and reduced screen glare.
Complementing the launch of the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series in Malaysia, HUAWEI also launched the Pura Trip Photography Campaign, officiated by Yang Berhormat Dato’ Sri Tiong King Sing, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), together with En. Mohd Amirul Rizal Abdul Rahim, Director General of Tourism Malaysia. As part of the launch promotion, HUAWEI has partnered with Malaysia Airlines to offer HUAWEI Pura 90s Series users a 10% discount on selected flights, giving buyers added travel value alongside their device purchase.
